Wollondilly Shire Council asked local artists to create artwork with the theme what we thought the shire would look like in the year 2033. I used a photo which was part of the background to "Hikers at a lookout" and added a photo of local cows. As Picton and the rest of the shire is in a real growth period, seeing rural properties being subdivided in small dwelling sites, I created this artwork "Rural Retreat" with cows being pushed out by the new houses.
