Summer of 2018 was exceptionally hot, 40 degrees plus for weeks on end. This Double drummer cicada fell out of a tree and landed on the deck in front of me. I picked it up and noticed how beautiful it was. I photographed it from all sorts of different angles. These photos were then put together as one composition and the detail of each musician was added, them put them on the stage at a performance. I use my mouse on the computer to draw with.
A series of artworks was created. The are available as limited edition artmounts 16"x 12" in size and fit a standard frame of that size.
NOTE: A copy of the original photo is included and is attached to the back of the artmount.
