Tangled in the Harp. Australian original art print.

I was given  lotus flower  seed pod by the local florist. After photographing it I put it aside and forgot about it. A few weeks later I noticed it had dried to a beautiful blue colour and an amazing texture.  It looked like a skirt and bolero. I hung it up close to a white background so that the light source would cast a shadow. The dress looked fantastic so I added  her head and hat, arms and legs, a harp as she looked like a nice tall lady. The simple slap stick drawings of the lady made it appropriate for her to be "Tangled in the harp." The underside of the seedpod was amazing and created her petticoat. This image of the seed pod  underside became "Dinki-di-dodgem-derby" "Lady with a Ukulele" was the artwork created using the dried flower before all the pink flower fell off.

NOTE: A copy of the original photo is included and is attached to the back of the artmount.
