While we were renovating out kitchen, the old stainless steel sink was removed from the kitchen and placed outside on a table. The following morning I was sitting at the dining table and looked out the window, only to see a beach scene in the outside wall of the sink bowl. I went outside to have a closer look. I realised that the sunlight was reflecting the red table cloth I had on the table inside, back through the window and onto the sink bowl creating this amazing afternoon atmosphere. Very excited at my find, I photographed it, and added the detail in black to create the composition but not to detract from the scene. Consequently the lady on the beach looked totally scorched after a "Long day in the sun"
